It was a busy Memorial Day, and my back was hurting and so I wanted to get a massage.  I called in the morning at 11:30 am to schedule an evening appointment with a female therapist for 60 minutes, but they didn't have anyone at that time and said they would call me back if they could get someone.  I got back around 4 pm saying they found someone for me. Their location is no frills but is clean and the music in the room is soothing.  The beds can be warmed up if the room is cold. The therapist they found was professional and asked for the kind of massage I wanted and worked out all the kinks.  I would return there and request her again. The only drawback I saw was the posting of the tips they suggested, and they seemed inflated, about 40% of the cost of the service.  Is that the standard tip rate these days?

I've been coming here for several years as I live and work near WeHo. If you are looking for a well experienced masseuse therapist with excellent massage techniques, Natalie who has been at this location for years is definitely who to contact for an appointment. Natalie knows the right amount of pressure requested. I've been to many other massage places with gift certificates like Burke Williams or hotel spas etc. and when I've requested medium pressure - it's either too light or too heavy. Nathalie always gets it just right. You can really feel she's had true years of experience in her technique.

I get massages all the time and have had the best and worst of them but have to come on here to say this place and Vasilli and gems! Firstly, having hurt my back and being in pain, I took to yelp and after calling around town all evening, Ryan at the Massage co helped me get a same day appt. He texted and communicated everything since it was my first time and they were open to add me to the latest part of their schedule which already said they care about their customers. 

The value here is good, it is well worth the price + here in LA how great to have parking available.  But the best part was finding Vasilli whom was my massage therapist. He is kind/intuitive, has a great strong touch, listened to my complaints, addressed them and checked in the right amount, he knows reflexology and other eastern/ worldly healing modalities making the massage a lot deeper of a therapeutic experience then I ever expected.  I feel a million times better and realize if you want next level healing that's a little bit outside the box, sometimes you need to let the universe guide you and try new massage therapists. Ken is amazing. I've been getting massages for many many years but I've never had somebody walk on me. It's a whole different experience and especially if you're somewhat thick, it really gets into the muscles if you want excellent massage give Ken a try.

I've never had a professional massage before but decided to schedule a very last minute session tonight, for which I was assigned, Jay. After really not knowing what to expect, I have to say that this was one of the best things I've ever done for myself. Jay was extremely kind, communicative, and did a phenomenal job. One of the best massages I've had in along time by a default massage place. Being an athlete is hard finding a place /a person that's good with dealing with my body type. The best way to get really stressed out is to have booked a massage two different ways and have it NOT show up on the books at all.

I visited Massage Company West Hollywood once before and really enjoyed my experience.  This time I called to book an appointment, but no one answered.  So, I sent an email requesting the booking with Ken.  He was really amazing.  But in the meantime, they saw my call and called me back.  

The person I spoke to on the phone booked me for 12:15pm with Ken.  Great!  And then shortly after, I received a response to my email saying that I was booked with Ken for 12:45pm.  

Clearly, I needed to get this straightened out.  So, I called today to verify which time they actually had for me, only to understand that they did not have me on the books at all.  Nor was Ken working on Saturday.

I'm so stressed out right now that I really don't think I want to play this imaginary appointment game with them again.  Where to go??

UPDATE ON THE QUICK...
I received an email from Nicole at the Massage Company with an apology for the inconvenience within hours of my post here.  I have to say, that showed exceptional customer service.  Not every company could have or would have reached out so assuredly and with determination to resolve an issue brought to their attention.  

They were able to confirm an appointment for me after all.  I just started a new job and a relaxing massage is just what I need right now.

Ken Weintraub has been my massage therapist for the past two years, and has helped me prepare for and recover from two spine surgeries and a hip replacement during that time. When I started seeing him, I knew I had some back-related issues, but I had no idea how severe my problems were. What impresses me the most about Ken, and is the reason I continue to see him even now that I am fully recovered and pain-free, is his amazing listening skill and the way he translates my description of both my issues and my goals into a highly specific massage treatment tailored to my needs. 

I am a 59-year-old man, active and athletic, and Ken has helped me stay that way throughout my medical "journey". At this point, he knows my body so well that he can immediately spot what needs to be stretched, compressed, unknotted, or just relaxed after a hard workout. Above all that, his kindness and warmth make my sessions with him something I look forward to, and I always know I'm in good hands.
